Moving Forward. Changing Lives
OUR MISSION:
At Harris Physical Therapy, our mission is to provide the highest quality therapy services to individuals with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities to enrich their quality of life.
PHYSICAL THERAPISTS:
Physical therapists are healthcare professionals who treat people of all ages who have medical problems or health related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Physical Therapists also help prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility through fitness and wellness programs that achieve healthy and active lifestyles. Physical Therapists examine individuals and develop plans using treatment techniques that promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Physical therapists provide support in the areas of gross motor development, motor planning, and visual motor skills. These includes but are not limited to improving and working with muscle tone, strength, range of motion, quality of movement, eye-hand coordination, attention to task and sensory integration.
Now offering occupational therapy!
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS:
Occupational Therapists are healthcare professionals who, like physical therapists, treat people of all ages for various physical and cognitive disabilities. This can include, but is not limited to, areas of fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, ADL skills, visual motor skills, spatial awareness, and sensory integration.
